Write and Deliver a Keynote Talk in 7 Weeks
Craft and confidently deliver a powerful 20-minute talk using storytelling, presence, and authentic connection.
"Work and deliver a 20-minute foundational talk, written in the style of a TEDx talk, tailored specifically for your message and audience. You’ll walk away with a powerful, professional piece you can use again and again."
Do you want to nail down a professional keynote speech? Or do you want to simply be able to stand up and confidently deliver a strong talk to a crowd? Have you tried and failed? Or do you wish to have a career as a speaker but just can’t nail a fantastic talk?
This intensive seven week course will take you all the way from the dream to a polished, rehearsed and TED-worthy talk.
Join professional speaker Bee Baumann and writing coach and author Sarah Bullen on this journey. They will take you through a step-by-step and systematic approach to writing, crafting and delivering a talk.
It could be a really good speech for a party, a keynote address for a function, an author talk or a course. We all need one solid base talk we can deliver, but how do you get there?
We started this course as so many authors we work with have to speak in front of a crowd or at an event. They freeze, or want to run away often. So we are going to gently guide you through this from start to finish, with peer feedback, loads of practice and professional support. This is a gentle and supportive approach to getting you there.
We will work through:
-
Finding WHAT you should speak about.
-
Structuring the talk, finding the content and working the text
-
Practising it in peer groups and with your coaches
-
Rewriting and tightening it
-
Working on body language, stage presence, voice and delivery
This very practical course helps you to become a more confident and convincing public speaker. We show you how to prepare engaging speeches and how to use compelling delivery.
Whether you're aiming to deliver a TEDx talk, create a compelling keynote, or enhance visibility for your book, this workshop provides the structure, feedback, and tools to bring your vision to life.

• Stage Presence: Developing confidence and charisma to connect with an audience on a deeper level.

Leveraging the Power of Humor Tools in Public Speaking
Humor tools are an invaluable asset that create a memorable connection between speakers and their audiences. Through humor strategy training, clients will:
• Utilize improvisation to respond dynamically and build rapport with the audience.
• Master the use of strategic silence to create emphasis and keep the audience engaged.
• Strengthen message retention through relatable, well-timed humor that resonates.
• Understand how to blend humor with purpose, aligning laughter with message clarity and resonance.
These tools work in synergy with traditional public speaking techniques to transform both delivery and impact.
Public Speaking and TEDx Readiness
These strategies are especially impactful for public speakers looking to write and deliver high-stakes presentations such as TEDx talks, professional keynotes, or promotional speeches for book launches. I help speakers grow by teaching them the critical role of humor, body language, and breath control—each essential for commanding the stage and connecting with an audience.
In collaboration with Sarah Bullens and The Writing Room, I am co-creating a 7-week Public Speaking Workshop. This comprehensive program will guide participants through the development of a polished 20-minute speech.
A Holistic Path to Speaking Success
This holistic approach empowers individuals to present with impact, fostering stronger connections and ensuring that your message resonates long after the presentation ends. Through practicing the tools of humor and strategic communication, clients will develop a style that is engaging, persuasive, and uniquely their own.
